Join Human Chain on 15th June - World Elder Abuse Day

On the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on 15th June 2008, Silver Innings, A Dedicated organization for senior citizens and their family members will be commemorating World Elder Abuse Awareness Month from 1st June to 30th June 2008.

With help of other networking organisations we have planned various activity:
To create awareness in elderly people themselves regarding what comes under elder abuse.
To sensitize young people regarding elder abuse and enabling them to reflect on their own attitudes towards the elderly.
To bridge the intergenerational gap between elderly and young people.
To create awareness in media and society at large regarding elder abuse.
To mark World Elder Abuse Day we have planned Human Chain at Shivaji Park,Mumbai on Sunday 15th June 2008 at 9.30 am to 10.30 am.

We request all Elders and Youngsters and NGO's to participate in large number to Say No to Elder Abuse.The place of meet is Shivaji Statue at Shivaji Park,Mumbai,Mumbai.

Pls come sharp at 9.20 am on Sunday 15th June with banners of your organization and posters saying - Say No to Elder Abuse or Stop Elder Abuse.
