Keeping this in mind, ALC India is organising a training programme on Business Planning for Livelihoods Promotion from April 23-26, 2008 in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Program Description
Most of livelihoods interventions failed due to lack of knowledge of potential markets for products, poor feasibility, improper management of capital costs and poor risk coverage plans.
Business plans are integral need for scaling up and raising finances from formal financial institutions. A skilled business plan will be able to help promoters of collective and individual enterprises to plan in advance for all the issues and provide a strategic direction to the business.
Training will cover the cost of accommodation, food, resource materials, resource person charges etc.
Objective
• To understand the basic concepts of business planning
• To provide the skill to develop collective and individual business enterprises
• To assist potential entrepreneurs in determining the feasibility and viability of their enterprises
• To help prepare marketing and production plans for enterprises
Fee
INR 8,000 (for 1 or 2 members), INR 7,500 (for 3 to 4 members), INR 7,000 (for 5 and above members)
