Bharath Gyan :Scientific approach for ancient India

Bharath Gyan is an effort to collate information on the various aspects of scientific knowledge in ancient India and present it through the multimedia format so that it can be quickly and effectively grasped by a wide audience.

It is evident from advances made by the present civilization that what was put down as mythology from ancient times are now coming true in the form of modern scientific break-throughs. Is the past going to converge with the present in the future?

Through Bharath Gyan, we would like to bring out the wealth of information that is hidden in our ancient texts. We hope to kindle the imagination and interest in the minds of active people so that those inclined can take up further, the challenge of uncovering our hoary past to facilitate modern scientific research.

For Educational Institutions

The present system of education that we follow now is based on the British system of education. Many of the aspects taught about the knowledge of India is what was taught to us during British times or what the British wanted us to learn about ourselves. It is more than 60 years since we have become independent but we are unwilling to shed our colonial shackles.

In Bharath Gyan we have prepared a series of multimedia capsules where we showcase India and its achievements both in the past and in the present through a fresh inquisitive and rational / scientific approach.

Armed with this perspective, knowledge about India, the students who are the future of this great country, India, can look forward to their own life in India and abroad with confidence about themselves and their glorious heritage, wherever they go and whomever they meet.

For Corporates

Business Houses and Corporates of India have grown in stature and outlook in the last 10 years. Business interactions have become global. This has led to training programmes being conducted in companies to sensitise their employees to other cultures and how to interact with executives from different parts of the world. This cross culture training is welcome and much needed.

At the same time are our executives, who are the real ambassadors of our country and its glorious civilization, aware of their own heritage?

The Indian executives interact with their international colleagues not only in their professional capacity but also after office hours, as friends.

During these interactions, the foreigners are keen to know something about India and its exotic culture. More often than not, the Indian executives draw a blank or say wrong things about India, which show themselves and India in poor light. The typical educational background of young Indian Executives has made them more conversant with the English & Western culture and literature than about Indian culture.

Through the corporate interaction programme of Bharath Gyan we bring out authentic and unique aspects of India in an interesting manner, to the young Indian executives in the hope that they being the true ambassadors of India can showcase India in its right perspective wherever they go.
